Remember when:
 

...Coach Benhase introduced the football team to "gassers", those 5 minutes of wind sprints at the end of each practice? Seemed more like 30 minutes.

...The track team worked out at the fairgrounds track and had to avoid the "road apples" from the horses.

...Ms. Rains insisted that "Latin is not a dead language."

...we had such fun on those band bus nights to the Jackson Apple Festival and away football games.

...we danced at the Youth Canteen at Court and Main during the Pumpkin Show.

...we survived on John Marzetti and sloppy joe lunches in the high school cafeteria.

...the new gymnasium was inaugurated for our basketball team.

future Rockettes Judy Routzahn King sent this picture taken in 1951 of the Dance Review for 5 future Rockettes. These cuties, from left to right, are Judy, Pat Schroeder, Barbara Weaver, Judy Wood, and Jane White. Judy now lives and teaches school in Worthington. She teaches Reading and Special Ed to grades 4-8. She and her husband David have 2 sons, one of whom is married. David retired 5 years ago and spends his time traveling around Ohio trap shooting. Judy enjoys swimming and gardening when she isn't teaching.
